Recon for Wi-Spy Products

Recon2 for Wi-Spy allows you to access one or more Wi-Spy devices deployed in remote locations on your network. This allows you to for instance place Wi-Spys in various problem areas and monitor them from your desk so that you can troubleshoot problem areas quickly and easily.

Using Recon

If the remote Wi-Spy is within your local area network, the device will appear in the devices window. Click on Open Device in the File menu. You can set Chanalyzer to automatically listen for and/or open network devices in the porgram references.

Chanalyzer 3 also allows the user to connect to a remote host on a different network or subnet. Note the IP address and port of your remote Recon instance and then go to the File menu, select Manually connect to Remote Host.. and enter the pertinent information.
